Online multiplayer games are taking over the gaming world. These games allow you to go head to head with players from different parts of the world or let you do cooperative games with them. Counterstrike has been at the top of the game charts for the longest time. This game allows players to join the counter-terrorists faction or the terrorist faction and shoot each other until the end of each round. To win a round, you can either eliminate all players from the opposing team, if you are a counter-terrorist, save the hostages and if you are the terrorist, plant a bomb at the bomb site.
There are a whole lot more online multiplyaer games out there that have taken the hearts of players. To mention one would be Quake, a kind of counter part of Counterstrike. The only difference between the two is that Quake is set in a more futuristic time and with more futuristic weapons.
